• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — 복습 알림
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — 재부팅 후 예약된 복습 알림 복구

• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, WAKE_LOCK, com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID / ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS / ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION — Google AdMob 광고
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE — 백그라운드 작업 라이브러리(androidx.work)
• DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION — 앱 내부 브로드캐스트를 앱 자신으로 제한하는 서명 수준 권한(외부에 노출되지 않음)

• 광고 관련 데이터 처리는 Google 정책을 따릅니다: policies.google.com/technologies/ads

English

Bible Memory (the "App") respects your privacy. The App requires no sign-up or login. Any data you create (memorization decks, highlights, bookmarks, review history, reminder settings) is stored only on your device and is never sent to any server.

Information We Collect

• Advertising identifier: The App shows a Google AdMob ad (bottom banner on the Today tab). AdMob may collect an advertising ID and device information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
• Bible study groups (optional feature): If you create or join a study group by code, the App sends and stores a random anonymous device identifier issued by the server (since 2026-08-27; before that the app generated it itself), a nickname you enter, the group name/code, and your daily progress (reading range, memorization completion, notes you write) and cheer/encouragement events on our self-hosted server. This identifier does not identify you personally and is never linked to your real name or email. A device authentication token issued alongside it is kept on your device only; the server stores just its SHA-256 hash. It exists so that no one else can reach your records, and it does not identify you on its own. Nothing is sent if you never use this feature.
• We do not collect other personally identifiable information such as name, email, contacts, or location. There is no account or login.

App Permissions

The complete list of permissions declared by the installed package (APK), split between those the app requests for its own features and those added automatically by the libraries it uses.

Requested by the app — needed for features

• INTERNET — Load ads; communicate for the optional Bible study group feature
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Review reminders
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Restore scheduled review reminders after a reboot

Added automatically by libraries (not requested by the app itself)

• VIBRATE — Notification library (alert vibration)
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, WAKE_LOCK, com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID / ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS / ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION — Google AdMob ads
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE — Background work library (androidx.work)
• DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION — Signature-level permission restricting internal broadcasts to the app itself (not exposed externally)

Never requested: location (GPS), camera, microphone, contacts, photos/media, storage, SMS/call logs. There is no in-app billing permission (BILLING) either.

Use and Third-Party Sharing

• The App's local data is never collected or stored on a server.
• Ad-related data processing follows Google's policies: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
• Study-group data is stored only on our own self-hosted server and is never shared with third parties (no ads/analytics access).

Data Retention & Deletion

Local data (decks, highlights, bookmarks, settings) is stored only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the App. Anonymous study-group data (nickname, progress, notes) can be removed by leaving the group in-app; to request full deletion, contact the email below. Retention: group data (group name, member nicknames, progress, notes, cheers) is deleted automatically 180 days after the group's last activity (creation, joining, progress, or cheer), and a group is deleted immediately when its last member leaves.

Children

The App does not target a specific age group and does not collect personally identifiable information.
