제1조 (목적)

본 약관은 말씀카드(이하 "앱")을 이용함에 있어 앱 운영자(이하 "운영자")와 이용자 사이의 권리·의무 및 책임 사항을 정하는 것을 목적으로 합니다.

제2조 (약관의 효력 및 변경)

• 본 약관은 앱 내 설정에서 상시 확인할 수 있으며, 앱을 이용함으로써 효력이 발생합니다.
• 운영자는 필요한 경우 본 약관을 변경할 수 있고, 변경된 약관은 본 페이지에 게시된 시점부터 적용됩니다. 변경에 동의하지 않는 경우 앱 이용을 중단하고 앱을 삭제할 수 있습니다.

제3조 (서비스의 내용)

앱이 제공하는 기능은 다음과 같습니다.

• 성경 읽기 — 앱에 내장된 오프라인 성경 데이터베이스(개역한글판)를 통한 본문 읽기 및 검색
• 암송 및 복습 — 이용자가 선택한 구절의 암송 카드 생성과 간격 반복 방식의 복습, 복습 알림
• 북마크 및 하이라이트 — 구절 저장, 폴더 분류, 색상 표시
• 묵상 — 구절에 대한 이용자의 생각 기록
• 읽기 계획 — 읽기 일정 생성과 진행률 관리
• 성경공부 모임 — 모임 코드를 통해 다른 이용자와 진도·메모·응원을 공유하는 선택 기능. 이 기능은 운영자가 직접 운영하는 별도 서버와 통신합니다.
• 광고 — 앱 일부 화면에 Google AdMob 배너 광고가 표시될 수 있습니다.

앱에는 회원가입·로그인 절차가 없으며, 유료 결제·구독 기능도 없습니다.

제4조 (성경공부 모임 기능의 제공 범위)

성경공부 모임 기능은 운영자가 개인적으로 운영하는 서버에 의존합니다. 이 서버의 가용성·접속 범위·제공 여부는 사전 고지 없이 달라질 수 있으며, 특정 시점에 해당 기능이 제공된다는 점을 보장하지 않습니다. 모임 기능을 사용하지 않아도 성경 읽기·암송·북마크·하이라이트·묵상·읽기 계획 등 앱의 나머지 기능은 오프라인으로 동작합니다.

제5조 (이용자의 의무)

• 이용자는 앱을 관련 법령과 본 약관에 따라 이용해야 합니다.
• 이용자는 앱을 역분석·복제·변조하거나, 비정상적인 방법으로 서버에 부하를 유발하는 행위를 해서는 안 됩니다.
• 성경공부 모임에 입력하는 닉네임·메모 등의 내용에 대한 책임은 해당 내용을 작성한 이용자에게 있습니다. 타인의 권리를 침해하거나 불쾌감을 주는 내용을 입력해서는 안 됩니다.

제6조 (지식재산권 및 성경 본문의 출처)

• 앱에 수록된 성경 본문은 개역한글판(1961)입니다. 개역한글판은 저작재산권이 2011년 말 만료되어 퍼블릭 도메인에 속합니다(대한성서공회 저작권 FAQ: 사용 허가 불필요). 다만 저작인격권 준수를 위해 앱은 본문의 출처를 "개역한글판"으로 표기하며 본문을 임의로 개변하지 않습니다.

• 앱에 사용된 성경 텍스트 데이터는 scrollmapper/bible_databases(MIT 라이선스, 텍스트는 퍼블릭 도메인 명기)에서 가져왔습니다.
• 성경 본문을 제외한 앱의 디자인·코드·구성은 운영자에게 권리가 있으며, 이용자는 개인적 이용 범위를 넘어 이를 복제·배포할 수 없습니다.
• 이용자가 앱에 입력한 내용(묵상 메모, 암송 카드, 모임 메모 등)에 대한 권리는 이용자에게 있습니다.

제7조 (광고)

앱은 Google AdMob을 통해 광고를 표시할 수 있습니다. 광고 관련 데이터 처리에 관한 사항은 개인정보처리방침 및 Google 광고 정책을 따릅니다. 광고의 내용은 Google이 제공하는 것으로, 운영자가 광고주의 상품·서비스를 보증하지 않습니다.

제8조 (서비스의 변경 및 중단)

운영자는 앱의 기능을 개선·변경할 수 있으며, 기술적 사유·운영상의 필요에 따라 서비스의 전부 또는 일부(특히 제4조의 모임 서버)를 사전 고지 없이 변경하거나 중단할 수 있습니다.

제9조 (면책)

• 앱은 "있는 그대로" 제공되며, 운영자는 앱이 이용자의 특정 목적에 부합하거나 오류·중단 없이 동작할 것을 보증하지 않습니다.
• 성경 본문 데이터는 공개된 소스에서 가져온 것으로, 오탈자나 편집상의 오류가 있을 수 있습니다. 본문의 정확성이 중요한 용도(예: 인용·출판)에는 정식 출판본을 확인하시기 바랍니다.
• 이용자가 앱에 저장한 데이터는 대부분 기기 내부에만 저장되므로, 앱 삭제·기기 초기화·기기 분실 시 복구되지 않습니다. 운영자는 이러한 데이터 손실에 대해 책임지지 않습니다.
• 운영자는 천재지변, 통신망 장애, 이용자의 귀책사유로 인한 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다.

제10조 (준거법 및 관할)

본 약관은 대한민국 법령에 따라 해석되며, 앱 이용과 관련하여 분쟁이 발생한 경우 민사소송법에 따른 관할 법원에 제기합니다.

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the operator of Bible Memory (the "App") and its users.

2. Effect and Changes

• These Terms are available at any time from the App's settings and take effect when you use the App.
• The operator may revise these Terms; revisions apply from the moment they are posted on this page. If you do not agree with a revision, you may stop using the App and uninstall it.

3. Description of the Service

• Bible reading — Reading and searching scripture from an offline database bundled with the App (Korean Revised Version, 개역한글판).
• Memorization and review — Creating memorization cards from verses you choose, spaced-repetition review, and review reminders.
• Bookmarks and highlights — Saving verses, organizing them into folders, and color highlighting.
• Reflections — Recording your own thoughts on a passage.
• Reading plans — Creating a reading schedule and tracking progress.
• Bible study groups — An optional feature for sharing progress, notes, and encouragement with others via a group code. This feature communicates with a separate server operated personally by the operator.
• Advertising — Google AdMob banner ads may be displayed on some screens.

The App has no sign-up or login, and no paid purchases or subscriptions.

4. Availability of the Bible Study Group Feature

The Bible study group feature depends on a server operated personally by the operator. Its availability, reachability, and continued provision may change without prior notice, and the operator does not guarantee that this feature is available at any given time. All other features — reading, memorization, bookmarks, highlights, reflections, and reading plans — work offline without it.

5. User Obligations

• You must use the App in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
• You must not reverse-engineer, copy, or tamper with the App, or place abnormal load on the server.
• You are responsible for the content you enter into Bible study groups (nickname, notes). Do not enter content that infringes on others' rights or is offensive.

6. Intellectual Property and Scripture Attribution

• The scripture text in the App is the Korean Revised Version (개역한글판, 1961), which entered the public domain when its economic copyright expired at the end of 2011 (per the Korean Bible Society copyright FAQ: no permission required). To respect the author's moral rights, the App attributes the text as "개역한글판" and does not alter it.

• The scripture text data is sourced from scrollmapper/bible_databases (MIT licensed; the texts themselves are noted as public domain).
• Apart from the scripture text, the App's design, code, and composition belong to the operator and may not be reproduced or distributed beyond personal use.
• Content you enter into the App (reflection notes, memorization cards, group notes) remains yours.

7. Advertising

The App may display ads through Google AdMob. Ad-related data processing follows the Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies. Ad content is supplied by Google; the operator does not endorse advertisers' products or services.

8. Changes to and Discontinuation of the Service

The operator may improve or change the App's features and may change or discontinue all or part of the service — in particular the group server described in Section 4 — without prior notice, for technical or operational reasons.

9. Disclaimer

• The App is provided "as is." The operator does not warrant that it will meet your particular purpose or operate without errors or interruption.
• The scripture data comes from publicly available sources and may contain typographical or editorial errors. For uses where textual accuracy matters (such as quotation or publication), please consult an official printed edition.
• Most data you save is stored only on your device and cannot be recovered if you uninstall the App, reset your device, or lose it. The operator is not responsible for such data loss.
• The operator is not liable for damages arising from force majeure, network failures, or causes attributable to the user.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the App shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
